RB08 Marshalls
As usual, when I am stuck I come on here and ask for help and the answers flood in so hopefully they will again.
We need Marshalls at certain ports to help with the movement of the trucks and trailers. The places we need most help are at Plymouth, Inverness, Edinburgh & Newcastle. We just need two guys at each place. PM me if you are able to help, it will only be for the day that the boats arrive. We are having made an RB08 item to show our appreciation.
By the way, we still need to borrow some Race Life Jackets, any offers would be appreciated.
ML.

Well he could, but it would be crooked, and the head would be bent over!

Actually going back to the RB site I see the better half of pocky Homes is unfortunately no longer listed so a rematch is off ...
and as for the dark force of Pocky homes I remember hearing a rumour way back then he tried emulating the new offshore prodigy by instructing a fellow competitor on the art of cat danceing however I was told that unfortunately a wave which was not their originally, suddenly was their and then out of the blue it joined forces with another wave and quite unexpectedly the boat went upside down...what dam bad luck!!!

If I recall due to a slightly bigger budget than many(ie huge) teams they were early swappers from mono to cat and I think it was either the first or second cat it happened too
We adapted later on with our new air entrapment hull named... the death trap

Steve Bourne raced 2 Phantom 21's from 1980 to the first race in 1984.
From the 2nd race of '84 - '85 he ran a Campbell / Wright Cat.
He changed to a Cougar 21' for 1986 -1987. He had major set up / weight distribution problems with the Cougar - so it was probably that one.

Fabio Buzzi
Fabio has just informed us that he does not think he will win the RB08 now as the old CESA is only doing 92mph with the new Iveco's instead of 110 as it used to do. Also he says at 65 years of age if it's rough he will want to look after himself and his 23 year old boat and not to damage either!
It can still do 80mph though on three engines.
