I did have children about 20 odd years ago does this help?
My boys are more into cars than boats so chances are it will be me and my brother.
I would like to be able to take some reasonable pictures without the need of a 1000mm lens.

I haven't got an answer for you Claire I'm afraid, I can't solve every problem, simply not possible. Peter is organising the Trophy Dinner together with the Royal Naval and Royal Albert and they have a licence to protect and you know the law regarding children and drink licences.
Hope Eric does make it to the podium.

Hi Mike
I know what you are saying it is just that as myself and I am sure many many others (including yourself) have taken time out to follow this race it would have been nice for us all to be at the end dinner just a shame and as usual it is the "Good old English Law" preventing this! I also hope Cinzano gets a trophy.

Oi, I am planning to wear my original race overalls, just to prove that I am the same size as I was when I was 19!
Life jacket - Adam has put a Grabner in the post.
The majority of the damage was due to a nut loose behind the wheel!

I had a lovely encounter today I met James May in Canary Wharf and asked him about the poweboat race, sad to say he can't make it. That is such a shame, but I'm sure the rest of you will do well.

The A4 size full colour brochure has write ups on all the crews and boats, in a similar fashion to the current MB&Y article and is, frankly, fantastic. The cost of this 40 page special edition brochure (only 1500 will be printed) will be £5.00 + postage which will £2.20. 30% of all profit raised will go to our charity, the RNLI.

Is it possible to pre-order one?
