Knowing my Luck they are coming via the horn of Africa and will get seized by Somali Pirates, Sold to a drug runner in Morocco and turn up at the bottom of the Med only to be salvaged by a trainee diver working for Chaldron looking for their next project boat....

Progress report

First off Hasbeen --do you have a something that you can drive that floats? and wil it be at Cowes??If so my compliments to you, personally i would like to see, you or others take on a project like this and actually realise it in the same time frame and budget and complete it.
Yes unfortunately some "people" have been less than reliable on promised works, however it is moving on.
Unfortunately my hands are tied with the engine mount scenario, however today all the fuel pumps have been mounted and wires run, the dash is basically complete and now being wired into the main loom.
Tomorrows task is to fit the trim tabs and brackets for steering.

Reported finished ----------------

good luck with it pash!! i have followed this all the way and it has been a bit of an epic rebuild from the looks of it, its a shame when you try and keep people informed to drum up some interest, get a little help etc and all you get is bitching and piss taking. after seeing this im not publicising a project or build till its done. it really dosnt seem worth the agro. i think itd drive me nuts after working all day on sumat being proud n then come on line n have someone belittle all your efforts. still it looks great and when its finished itl be brilliant, something to be proud of for sure. well done on the work so far for all involved

Sorry to report, I think the 'team' have been down the pub this week - didn't see much progress. Nothing much seems to have changed from last week!

Simon, Did you go behind the dash board????

Did you notice the upper saddles on the fuel tanks? and the holes for the fuel lines? and shed loads of eppoxxxy stuff splashed around?? loads of Little things have been going on in enclosed spaces which may be un-noticeable to the "Untrained Eye" not that I’ve got a trained eye of course..

Not sure what has been reported to you, but dash is out on a bench, 2 fuel tanks are still on the floor and someone has gone beserk with PINK expanding foam!!!!

Did see the fuel lines and shinny new fillers, and on the bright side, the dash with gauges look really nice, should look good when fitted.
