So are you ladies also doing the Camden Trophy in the Midas? August 15/16th Bournemouth?
By the way, it's only racing when there is someone else in your class, otherwise is just 'finishing'.

No............. Whilst it would be nice to do it would bust the Basic two race event licence rule & Torquay will clean out my boating budget for a while.

If biting the pillow is what does it for you, then go ahead, but you will have to play that game on your own.
And why have you added me as your friend on facebook -

I was feeling sorry for you and figured you needed as many friends as possible, but in view of your pillow biting escapades, I have reviewed my 'friends' policy and found that you no longer comply - you have therefore been rejected.
By the way, tomorrow is 'Konrad Drives' Thursday, so when they being fitted???

Are you gonna give the transom plates a service/clean up/respray so they look as smart to match the konrads?

I'm sure the nice shinny 'Mr Muscle' finish will look lovely and will be some comfort as you watch them sink to the bottom coz you didn't check the transom plates and bellows etc.
I'm damn sure if I had just bolted £15k worth of new drives to a boat, I would check it all a little better than a little clean up!
But, what do I know?

Simon...
They will be checked over before bolting anything to them - just to make sure - fluid levels, bellows and anything else we can find to check

transom plates
Does any one following this thread have a sense of humour?
With the nice new shiny "egg whisks" also comes a service kit for the up and downey bit it bolts onto,it includes a tin of hamerite smooth and new stickers to cover up the mercruiser ones.
However should a visual inspection deem the existing parts servicable, only the hamerite and stickers will be used, the balance available on Ebay soon after
If it ain't broke, don't fix it--you will always have the parts in stock (subject to ebay sale)when it lets go.

Oh, paint AND new stickers, that's aright then - I was worried it wasn't a FULL service kit

Hammerite smooth doesn't like being immersed. Leave the boat in the water for cowes weekend and the surface of the hammerite will go weird. I did the tabs on the formula with it. Still looked OK and didn't peel off, but I'd use something else next time, possibly international perfection.
Oh hang on, you were joking about the hammerite?
