My Argo needs work but when I see this thread I'll keep it the way it is.

Nice to see your getting on with things down there! Did you leave the MIDAS CF label untouched?

It will be left untouched. I have left the tunnel till the trailer swap. Would be a crime to paint over it.
The Midas CF is a very sexy looking Carbon Fibre thingy with Midas 1992 on it laminated to the tunnel underside. Very neatly done.
In fact there are so many nice little touches in it & the quality of the original work is outstanding. Well done to the boys in southampton

First weekend off since the last work on the boat & tiz chucking it down, so much for the finishing the painting.
New seal kits in the hand pumps & polishing stainless bits that are in the garage. Finally got a bit of space having sold the WR, makes things easier at least I can move about now. Motor is all sorted & in the shop as I type will have a time frame over the next few days for a return date.
Will get there this season

ahh... guess perfection takes a little longer, it sure does look good so far, I am sure Mark will be bowled over by all your hard work when he has a go in it...may scare him think he's become a bit of a land lubber in his posh BM sports car

fekken hairdresser
It hasn't progressed a fast as I wanted.
It is only a hobby and keeping it as such, very easy to get carried away
Still no break to get the painting done & to progress after that I need the motor on to sort out the other bits. Guess another few weeks before it's back from Jay's in the USA
It will get done this season but when....... would just be a guess. There will be a lot of setting up as it is one heck of a power jump from previous installs
Will use 2007 as a set up dial in period really. I dont observe winter so will run though that.
Certain for Alllhallows season opener in 2008 + one other more than likley a OCRDA basic & poker runs.

Still wating for the break in the weather...nothing on the horizon.
Dropped the revamped trailerboard of with Arthur today. Nice to see him after 2x years. should be about 4 weeks to completion of the trailer.
Motor should retun around the last week of July so coming along, pretty much everything else is ready and waiting really.
Trim & lift indicator to sort along with a through cowling trim set up but will wait till it's all hung & in place before progressing those. wont really need the first two to run it in anyway so not too fussed on them a nice to have rather than a must have.
Rigging hose is a pain in the bum as I wanted to do something different other than the traditonal black but costs are daft to have one made in a barney purple.... anybody got any ideas?

May I take this opportunity to wish you and the future Mrs Fin the best of luck for tomorrow.
You know you've still got time to do a runner.

Well back from the "Moon"
Engine is coming along well all the machine work is done, Sport reeds done & Lapped, Injectors all back from Brucato, Swapped over too top pinned pistons, Block back from plating Mon or Tues.
New Set of gears (My Ratios), Replaced the water pump, Drystacked the Mid. Should be a nice true 280 HP (min) Not gone to Drag spec as I want to keep it as near to Flexible as I can & not top end the thing
Weather has soaked all the masking tape & all the masking has dropped off again, still wating for that 3 day window to paint...... Its gotta come soon
Still on the look out for a spare Sportmaster Box but that is really on the back burner a little as I've blown the Pug's Head Gasket
