Had a run out today, couple of issues that I'm not 100% on so will keep loacl to drivers till sorted, mostly oiling up & need to do some DDT work to change a few bits and bob's
http://www.hedges-uk.com/boat/run1.mp4
http://www.hedges-uk.com/boat/run2.mp4
bit wobbly but one handed on the mobile, got a nice 69.45 while still in breakin mode so that was nice. a shakedown day with a few bits I have to address

I run the Spernelli 29" 4 blade DR4 very good might just be a little to harsh but difficult to tell when you are limited to 4.5k - 5k, mind you it did bite once on a funny wash but then I was one handed having a puff at the time.
Should be there in the Am suspect around 9-00 / 09:30 water about 10:30
Fresh plugs, DDT, couple of running repairs, & back out for a couple of hours to finish the running in

But damn that engine looks so small
Thats a nice speed it already runs. Which speeds is it supposed to run after the break-in?

not quite sure, but i'm going to stop at the supermarket a pick up a pack of those new tenna pants for men, just in case. should easily be into the high 90's but that will be all down to fine tuning and some practice.

crane showed 1.197 fully fuelled.
Foolish thanks for the pics sorry we didnt get a chance to chat a bit more yesterday.
Ironing is nearly finished still got some outstanding bits I need to address.
Tried it with a DR3 28" today, bit more torque and livley over the DR4, but will zero out the breakin mode & unlock to see how things run above 6k

I felt pretty rotten as she really did cut me some slack for some "Johnny" time. But by heck it felt good 28 years break from fast boats so I dont think that little MP4 was to bad,
would have liked to have done more today, but I'll stop off one night in the week or next saturday for my adjustments.
Foot throttle feels like shite need to change some angles on the pull, cured my 27 trigger faults from yesterday, still getting a TP1 but thats just adjustment for another day, new set of plugs made all the difference, replace a nav light lens which I kicked off on the pontoon coz I wasn't looking, re-bleed of trim & steering, got a bit of an iffy fuel feed which though it dont leak I'm no a 100% happy with it.
In theory the Break in mode should be complete had 25 mins left at the start of sunday logged an hour & half and then it read 35 mins to break in............off to read the little hand book.............. confused of alderholt.
but 70 out the box sub 6k aint bad & well pleased. just need lots more seat time
Next project.......................TBA

Went out with BluFin yesterday for a blast around Southampton Water - Two Cats thundering along must have been a sight to behold, Midas Sounds and looks fantastic on the water and is a real credit to BluFin - Roll on the Poker Run and Who knows TD might bring his Cat out from hiding for a run (Here's hoping)
Well done John
