All looks really great, I hope to see it at the brassmonkey, will have to pop next door to see Mark Mum to check if he has kept up with this thread and it's radical renovation...Chris said your work is top notch on both his machines

Dan did a cracking job on the BluFin "Bulletproof" Clevis pins Satin Stainless try a break one of these fekkers. Just hated the look of the off the shelf plastic ones
My pleasure, I'm just chuffed to bits to see the wingplate on! As for the clevis pins, bulletproof sums them up exactly! Speak to you on my return to work Blufin (next week-doh)

for the cowling lock adjustments,
on front, you should tighten up the sprung bolts, to as tight as possible but obviously must still able to take the cowl on and off.
and on the back latch, take the bolt off (12mm or something)and put a washer in the mechinism(1mm thick ish), that makes it much stiffer when its tightened back up, that way when your jumping around on the water it doesnt come un done, also adjust the top part of the catch on both front and back to make them both a tight fit, on muts nuts you have to put front in first other wise cant do the cowl up,
also get an elastic band and put it round the top of the rear latch, to anything thats on the left side, that can keep tention that way it cant come off.

Ive had projects just as you are getting everything finished, BANG there's always something goes wrong.
Best thing is take a couple of weeks away from the project, then get back in to it.
Remember John dont let it beat you, we've all been watching this thread too long for you to give up now.

Well firstly you can blame the weather, even under cover its cold and windy..But DONT give up that boat will do 100MPH plus and with My F1 motor so will mine so just imagine 2 old wooden cats doing 100mph side by side this summer

I am just going now to put up my makeshift tent over mine to do more work. Most people wouldnt know where to even start let alone finish something like this..We are the elite so dont fail us now.........
