MMMH !!! UIM
Loop Holes

735.26
All external (not contained within the powerhead) studs, screws, nuts,
bolts and their washers are free as well as the method of locking them,
providing there is no performance advantage.

735.30
In the process of modification, minor optional alternatives as listed and
priced by the manufacturer of the homologated engine, may be permitted
provided they do not affect engine performance, but improve convenience
and safety. Unless you are SB Racing and you can fit any part you like. This last sentance was a joke add on by the way it dont say it really.

If the powers to be are to stoooopid to know Alien cowls fall off & top pin stops it, god help the sport, you can spend a fortune on bearing carries ect,ect this is a simple & effective prevent mod, whats a cowl now about a grand GBP to ya door. Getting a Top Pin mod in I would have thought would be common sense for one of the representatives at the next coffee morning

You sound like Er in doors who's 7.5 months pregnant and already finding it impossible to get in and out, we haven't had it a day yet and she is moaning how it hurts her back, i told her she should not have got pregnant and it would not have been a problem typical woman though she keeps blaming me

............ with a bit of dump vale flutter thrown in..............
It went quite well in the end , I was expecting a bit more hassle as there always is... but was OK, Priming the fuel pump took ages. 16 lts didnt even cover the tank pick up another 16 did the job but most of that I think has just sucked it's self into the foam of the tank now.

DDT one air sensor fault which has now cleared & not come back, may have just been a setting up shipping thing. the fuel offset I set to zero for running in and will review that later down the road as to how its running & burning.
What was intresting was the error on the Merch Tach & take note here guys that race.
Was reading 1,000 for tickover but in real terms was 847-900 10% error at tickover got worse further up but I only went to 1500
water pressure under read by as much as 34%.
Dont have a great deal of confidence in that quicksilver instrumentation now gland the Nordstuff will arrive soon
