A small group of us will be coming up from Guernsey to help, my revenger will be amongst them if it's ready, if not I'll be on one of the ribs

Good news and thanks to those responsable, we must be able to get 20 .

Marathon Class A Entries

Going Lean has ploughed a lonely furrow at Torquay and Poole in Marathon A Class this year.

At Cowes Torquay Cowes, the Fountain has a few more boats to play with;

Ciao, according to the timetable on the cowes2011 website there is no Cowes 100 race , is this true?
With these exciting new entrants for Cowes, will this be reversed and the Cowes 100 race continue as originally planned.

The Cowes 100 race was withdrawn from the RYA calendar 2 months ago -

The only Marathon Race from Cowes this year will be the Cowes Torquay Cowes.

Fairly shortly I will post up the entrants for the Cowes Poole Cowes race.

2011 will see the 4th time the race has run, instigated by Mike Lloyd in 2008, the CPC has seen entrants including Honda Series, Class 3, Club Basic, V24 and Marathon Boats that did not have the fuel range to compete in Cowes Torquay Cowes.

This year looks like the biggest fleet.

Powerboat P1 Superstock, Club Basic including 6 entries from Holland.

Sorry Ciao, does this mean that Mr Hannes Bohinc will be aboard no 88 - OSG Racing Team this year? He did say in an interview after last years race that he would be coming back in a proper race boat rather than a C class sports boat!!
Good to see the Italians coming back!!!!

Cowes 2011

The entry for Marathon Boats is good, if abate some what smaller than previous years.

We look forward to seeing more entries into the Cowes Poole Cowes race to challenge the P1 Superstock boats.

Rather than post dull enquiries, please PM or email me.

Cowes Start

For various reasons the BPRC will not be running the "Traditional Cowes Start" this year, the start of the 2011 Cowes Torquay Cowes will be similar to 2010 with some tweeks.

I have to thank all the people that have offered their safety boats for this venture.

Sorry to disappoint, the organising team spent over 5 months trying to bring it on.

On a more positive note, 19 Marathon Boats will compete in the CTC, and 20 plus for the CPC.
