I don't think he follows it, he was just inspired by the RB and CTC, as was Eric and Nik

Cinzano and Dry Martini would be a good pair to get hold of as part a rather nice wish list.
I see Dry Martini is still being advertised for 69k.

Ye need a new paint jobby saying EBERHARD who ever or whatever that is???

Cinzano History

Knocking Mr.F`s comment re L.Graysons sidekick to one side. How very drole Jon.The history of Della Valle`s boats is enough to make you reach for the stress tablets.I don`t think anybody really knows the full history.Marco(Black Tornado) has a better understanding than most on this and no doubt will come back with his comments.82 CTC winner-Rothmans(ex-Alitalia Due),83 CTC winner-Rothmans(became Cinzano RB08),84 CTC winner-Cinzano (RB08),85 CTC winner-Cinzano (Lambos).Della Valle had about 3 CUV38,some of which raced in the same year (one Lambo, one cruisemaster). The full list of his boats and ex-names would take some time to tap out on this post, but so far the thinking is for Cinzano RB08 is as follows.

83 Rothmans
84 Cinzano
85 Cinzano
86Trussardi
87 Dimensione Uomo
88 Biancaneve Inter Scavi
05 Offshore Unlimited
08 Cinzano

dam ... That's impressive how do you guys do it Flying fish and TimB-C guess you guys were their racing, Tim I gather did or was still racing at this period in the 80's still great knowledge you 2 have

Tims comment on Eberhard being designer watches, perhaps he had them as a sponsor to time his win's to the 100th of a second
