We (Team Ring) already have our Musto's in a lovely shade of Pink badged Raymarine and they were FREEEEEE! I like free.
Mind you, our "minder/navigator" refuses to wear his because of the colour but us "olden's" just don't care.

Will it be possible to show the Flag that the boats will be racing under in the entrants list for this years Cowes Marathon Series!
http://www.cowes2010.co.uk/entrants.htm
I'm guessing that Red FPT will be under US flag not the Italian?
Which will mean that there is no Italian Team taking on the UK's best for this World Cup series.
That will be a shame, as the Italians have been supporting our race hear on the Island like it was their second home for the last 50 years.

My sister who lives near Ryde tells me that a couple of evenings ago a loud fast boat was tearing up the Solent. She thought it may be a class 1 boat. Black and red? Anybody in the know?

I agree, so they have no stomach for Marathon racing anymore? Also where are the wide boys of ex P1. Not a sight of any of them coming to Cowes except for Mr Langdon and Mr Lai. What a bunch of .........

Buzzi can't get an Italian licence due to politics and his age and the rest of P1 are committed to their Championship (Would you want to break your boat at Cowes or win a World Championship?) - Drew has more than one boat and isn't doing very well in the Championship due to reliability issues and Martin Lai has only just got his boat from the States, so he is entering everything he can - I hope that puts it into perspective!
Don't forget we have boat coming from America for this!

Cowes Update
The Marathon entries are now looking very good!
Going Lean and Fury certainly gave us a taste on Saturday, just how exciting the event will be.
Fabio Buzzi is bringing 3 boats, Red FPT, Kera Coll and Wettpunkt.com
Buzzi tells me he is an old man in an old boat and will not be able to compete as in the past - We shall see!
Dry Martini and Uno Embassy were delivered into Drivers today from the States.
Mike Mantle has taken up the role of team manager and t-man for Uno Embassy with newcomer to the sport and owner of Uno Rob Gray on the wheel.
Cinzano has a new crew member.
Don Shead's nephew Simon Wood Power, will be working alongside the U-Boat Captain Markus Hendricks and the chap that enjoys a day out in a farm, Eric Smillie.
This is starting to look like an event not to miss!

Marathon result
Not wishing to be at all disrespectful in the circumstances, but Ciao stated about the race at Harwich last Saturday giving a good prospect for Cowes.
Can anyone kindly enlighten me/us as to the results of that Marathon Race please?
